Meet the Founder

Tenisha Wilde ✦

Raised between the redwoods of Northern California and the multicultural energy of the Bay Area, founder Tenisha Wilde developed an early appreciation for personal style through the contrast of the worlds around her. From nature and coastal California to music, fashion, and the individuality of Bay Area culture, style became a form of identity and creative expression from an early age.

Beginning in her late teens, years of international travel and festival-going further shaped her perspective and aesthetic — inspiring a love for pieces that feel personal rather than purely trend-driven. Influenced by different cultures, textures, and ways of dressing across the world, she became drawn to the idea that personal style should never feel confined to one version of yourself, but instead reflect the many layers and facets that make each person unique.

What began as a personal creative outlet eventually evolved into Ten Wilde — a Black woman-owned jewelry brand rooted in individuality, versatility, and the belief that jewelry should feel like an extension of the person wearing it.

Today, Ten Wilde continues to reflect that perspective: elevated everyday gold designed for the multifaceted gem.
